Factoring Difference of Squares

Multiply:
(x* - means X squared)

(x + 1)(x - 1) = x* - 1
(x + 2)(x - 2) = x* - 4
(x - 3)(x + 3) = x* - 9
(2x - 1)(2x + 1) = 4x* - 1

Difference of Squares

Example 1:

81y* - 4
(9y + 2)(9y - 2)

Example 2:

x* - 144
(x + 12)(x - 12)
